Lasse, owner and head trainer has been teaching spinning for over 9 years (one of the first instructors in the world) and has a BS and MS in Physical Science. He has operated clubs since 1989.
All classes are held on a weekly basis, and are 50-60 minutes unless otherwise noted.
Spirit also offers child care for the parents who can't find the time to workout.
- Our class schedule and description may not tell you some things you need to know about our exercise classes. Try them! We consistently find that people who take our group classes show a much higher attendance rate. There may be several reasons for this:
- You learn things. Your instructor can give you new skills, insights and knowledge that will benefit your fitness beyond the time you spend in class
- The power of synergy. "Performing" or just exercising with other people -no matter what level gives you power and a lift beyond what you would typically put out if you were doing it alone.
- Working out with others reduces your perceived effort
- Group training typically gives you a unique work out and adds to the variety factor
- Much of what you learn in a class, be it specific exercise routines or theoretical concepts, can be"transferred" to your workouts in the gym or even at home
- It's "free" personal training; you can ask questions and get answers!
- There is a class for every possible level of fitness. You do not have to be fit to join a class - it is something you do to become more fit
- Most of our classes do not require great neuromuscular skills! Yes, there may be somewhat of a learning curve in a few, but nothing more than what will keep your mind alert. It's a promise!
- You make friends in classes
- You belong in a class
- Lastly, our class schedule is so comprehensive, that you can put together a perfectly complete, and balanced program even if you choose to do classes for your work out routine.
*These classes are not covered by your Spirit membership. Fees vary. Please contact class instructor or speak with one of our front desk associates.
